Quick answers for parents and students. Can't find what you need? Contact us below.
Parents sign up and create a profile for each learner. From the parent dashboard you can assign courses and practice exams that match your child’s year level, then hand over to your child — they pick their profile and everything they see is tailored to them.
Exams run under timed conditions, just like the real thing. Your child can flag questions, skip and come back, and review answers before submitting. After submission they see their score immediately, along with a question-by-question review.
After each exam we analyse every answer — not just right or wrong, but pace, changed answers and the specific mistakes behind each chosen option — and generate a short report: strengths, the misconceptions to fix first, and what to practise next. It appears on the results screen a few moments after submitting.
Once enough students in the same year level are practising on SimplyMaths, your child can see roughly where they stand against peers in each topic area — shown as friendly bands like "Top quarter", never exact rankings. It stays hidden until the comparison group is large enough to be meaningful and fair.
From the parent dashboard, open your child’s profile and create a Login Card — it generates a simple email and password your child can use to sign in directly on their own device, with access only to their own learning space.
Yes — alongside the standard practice exams, the Competition Papers use harder, competition-format questions designed to prepare students for maths competitions, scholarship tests and selective-entry exams.
We only collect learning activity (answers, time on questions, exam results) to power progress tracking and reports. We never sell data, never show ads, and peer comparisons are always anonymous and aggregated.
