Terms & Disclaimers

Version 2026-11-free1 · Effective 3 November 2026

SimplyMaths is free right now. We take no payment details, and there is nothing to cancel.

1. Who we are, and acceptance of these terms

simplymaths.au is operated by Enthea Pty Ltd (ACN 701 450 517, ABN 22 701 450 517), trading as SimplyMaths, of Victoria, Australia. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that company.

By creating an account on simplymaths.au, or by allowing a child in your care to use it, you agree to these Terms & Disclaimers. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

We may update these terms. The current version always appears on this page, and we will tell you about material changes by notice on the website or to your registered email address.

2. Fees, and limitation of liability

SimplyMaths is free right now. We take no payment details and there is nothing to cancel. Clause 6 says what happens if that ever changes.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Subject to that, the service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Where our liability may lawfully be limited, it is limited — at our option — to resupplying the service, or to refunding what you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim. Where you have paid us nothing, that amount is nil.

3. What SimplyMaths is, and no guarantee of academic outcomes

SimplyMaths is a supplementary self-study resource. It is designed to be used in addition to your child’s schooling — not in place of it. We are not a school, a tutoring service, an assessment provider or an examination board, and we do not provide professional educational, psychological or diagnostic advice.

Nothing on simplymaths.au should be used as the sole basis for any decision about your child’s education, examinations, subject selection, school placement or learning-support needs. Decisions of that kind should be made in consultation with your child’s teachers or an appropriately qualified professional. The mathematics materials, quizzes, reports and resources on simplymaths.au are provided for general educational and informational purposes only.

While we aim to provide high-quality content, we do not guarantee any specific academic outcome, exam result, school grade, selective-entry or scholarship placement, or improvement in your child’s mathematical ability. Responsibility for academic performance remains entirely with the student and their parent or guardian.

Any score, band, percentile, insight or recommendation produced by the service — including those generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence — is an estimate for study guidance only. It is not an assessment, a diagnosis, or a prediction of performance in any real examination, and must not be relied on as one.

4. Curriculum alignment and accuracy

We make every effort to ensure our questions are accurate and align generally with standard schooling frameworks. However, we do not warrant that the content is error-free, complete, or perfectly aligned with the specific curriculum of your child’s school, state or territory, or with any particular external examination.

We accept no liability for typographical errors, mathematical mistakes, outdated learning methodologies, or differences between our materials and what your child’s school teaches.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any school, examination board or assessment provider. Any reference to an external examination is descriptive only.

You are responsible for verifying any content on which you intend to rely for an examination or assessment. Subject to clause 2, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, damage, cost or disadvantage arising from your or your child’s use of, or reliance on, the service — including any examination result, school grade, placement or scholarship outcome; any expense or opportunity foregone; or any interruption, unavailability or loss of submitted work. This applies whether the loss arises from an error, omission, ambiguity or out-of-date item in our materials, from a difference between our materials and any syllabus or examination, or otherwise.

5. Third-party contributions

Parts of our educational materials may be authored, reviewed or verified by third-party independent contractors, and parts may be generated or checked with the assistance of artificial intelligence.

We do not accept responsibility or liability for any errors, omissions or misstatements introduced by external contributors, reviewers or automated tools. If you spot a mistake, please tell us at support@simplymaths.au and we will correct it.

6. Cost, and if it changes

Free right now. All exams, mini exams, explanations and Insights are free, and we do not offer anything to buy.

Free now, and free until the end of 2027. If you open your account while SimplyMaths is free, it keeps full access at no charge until 31 December 2027, even if we bring paid plans back before then, and we will not ask you for payment details for that time. After that date your account moves to our free plan and nothing in it is deleted. To pay for more you would have to choose a plan and enter your payment details yourself.

Accounts opened earlier. If your account was opened before SimplyMaths became free and we bring paid plans back, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice at your registered email address. Nothing is ever charged by default: to be charged at all you would have to choose to pay and enter your payment details yourself.

If you paid us before. The terms you accepted when you paid still apply to that payment, including any refund they promise. Contact us and we will sort it out.

7. Parental responsibility and student profiles

simplymaths.au is intended for use by school-aged children only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

  • The account must be created by a parent or guardian, in their own name and with their own email address.
  • When creating a student profile, you must use a generic, shortened or fictional profile name. Do not enter the student’s real full name.
  • Do not enter any other information that identifies your child — no school name, no date of birth, no photographs, no contact details.

We are not liable for privacy issues arising from a parent entering a child’s real identifying information contrary to this clause. If you have already done so, you can rename the profile at any time from your parent dashboard, or contact us and we will help.

8. Acceptable use and intellectual property

All questions, graphics, code, text, layout and reports on simplymaths.au are the intellectual property of Enthea Pty Ltd.

Your access to the service grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to view the materials and complete the exercises for personal, non-commercial educational use by children in your own household.

You must not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell or make our questions or content available to any third party — including any school, tutoring business or study group — without our express written permission. You must not scrape the site, attempt to extract our question bank, or use the materials to train any machine-learning model.

9. Accounts, suspension and termination

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.

We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached. We may also discontinue the service, or withdraw a free promotional period, in each case by giving you reasonable notice at your registered email address.

You can stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your account and your children’s data from your account settings.

10. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
